Scholarship to support the studies of Ukrainian students (spring)
The deadline for applications in the spring semester is April 15, 2025.
On the basis of MU FF Measure No. 3/2025 - Conditions for the use of funds to support the study of Ukrainian students, which follows MU Measure No. 3/2023 [effective from 10 February 2025], students can apply for the Scholarship for the Support of the Study of Ukrainian Students for the spring semester 2025 in the amount of CZK 6,000/month.
The deadline for applications in the spring semester is April 15, 2025.
Students with Ukrainian citizenship who hold a Ukrainian travel document and who are unable to study at Ukrainian universities as a result of the war conflict or who have fallen into a difficult situation in the course of their ongoing studies at a public university in the Czech Republic due to the aforementioned reasons are eligible for this scholarship.
Holders of temporary protection valid until 31 March 2025 shall also submit a pdf document with the extension of temporary protection (confirmation that you have timely and properly applied for the extension according to the instructions of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and your temporary protection is extended until 30 September 2025) - online registration for the extension of temporary protection.
NOTICE
Students who have temporary protection and are claiming humanitarian benefit are advised that scholarships are considered income for the purposes of calculating humanitarian benefit and may affect the amount of their humanitarian benefit and eligibility for free state humanitarian accommodation.

How do I apply for the scholarship?
I am a holder of valid temporary protection in the Czech Republic
Use the electronic application in the IS system:

and select the type of application:
- Students who hold a temporary protection visa
Please read the instructions on the application carefully.
- When submitting the application, the student must provide a scan of the page of the travel document on which the valid temporary protection visa is marked.
- Holders of temporary protection valid until 31 March 2025 will also submit a pdf document with the extension of the temporary protection (confirmation that you have applied for an extension in time and in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic and your temporary protection is extended until 30 September 2025). You must apply for this extension by 15 March 2025.
I am not a holder of valid temporary protection in the Czech Republic
Use the electronic application in the IS system:

and select the type of application:
- Scholarship for Ukrainian students
(when submitting the application, the student must provide a justification and must submit scans of his/her bank statements for the last 3 months).
