The graduation ceremony is organized separately for bachelor's degree graduates and master's degree graduates (both full-time and combined forms) and takes place in the following periods:
- March – for graduates who passed their final state exams in January and February
- July – for graduates who passed their final state exams in May and June
- November – for graduates who passed their final state exams in August and September
Due to organizational reasons, it is not possible to reschedule graduations to another date.
Graduations for doctoral degree graduates are organized by the Rectorate of Masaryk University and usually take place twice a year (in March and September). Doctoral degree graduates will receive an invitation in advance via email in the IS MU system. For more information, you can contact phd@rect.muni.cz.

The graduation ceremony is organized separately for bachelor's (further on referred to as "bc") degree graduates and master's (further on referred to as "mgr") degree graduates (both full-time and combined forms) and takes place in the following periods:

Selection of graduation group
After the order period ends, a schedule of graduation groups will be created based on the number of registered graduates. Graduates who have ordered the graduation ceremony will then be informed by email about how and when they can register for a graduation group. Without a prior order in the Shopping Center, it will not be possible to select a group.
Organizational instructions
- For the preparation and rehearsal of the ceremonial act, everyone should arrive at least 40 minutes before the scheduled start time.
- Please bring a valid ID with you.
- The graduation ceremony requires formal attire.
- It is not appropriate to disrupt the ceremony with photography and filming. Professional photos and video recordings will be made during the ceremony, which you can order on-site (not included in the graduation fee).
Receiving a Diploma in Case of Non-Attendance at the Graduation Ceremony
Graduates who do not attend the graduation ceremony can collect their diploma by reserving a time during office hours at the Study Department or by coming to the International Relations Office (graduates from programs accredited in English), but only after receiving an informational email about the possibility of downloading its electronic version. When collecting the diploma, it is necessary to present a valid ID.
The diploma can also be collected by a person with a power of attorney bearing the verified signature of the graduate.
