Dear students,

I want to introduce myself as your new faculty advisor. I joined the Faculty of Arts at Masaryk University as a bachelor's student studying Czech and French, and I have been here ever since. I am currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Czech Language, working as a researcher and proofreader. Zdeněk Lyčka: Greenland, land of eternal snow and ice 

Do you know how many numbers the ancient Greenlanders used? Who founded the settlement of Nuuk, or how much of Greenland is covered by snow and ice? These questions will be answered by Zdeněk Lyčka, former Czech ambassador to Denmark, translator of Greenlandic myths and legends, and conqueror of the Greenlandic mainland glacier. Starts at 6:00 PM.
