Opening of a new exhibition in the Faculty Reading Room, which will commemorate the life and work of the renowned composer Leoš Janáček. Among other things, the exhibition will refer to the centenary of the awarding of the first honorary doctorate of Masaryk University to Leoš Janáček, as well as to the 170th anniversary of the composer's birth and the 100th anniversary of the world premiere of his opera The Cunning Little Vixen. Start at 5:00 PM.

The Dean of the Faculty traditionally awards outstanding scientific achievements of academic staff and students. It will also include a presentation of an owl from the Brno Zoo, which the Faculty of Philosophy will newly sponsor—start at 2:00 PM.
