We are pleased to inform you about the launch of the call for applications for the 2024 Scientific Prizes of the Embassy of France in the Czech Republic in 7 different scientific fields. The laureates of the Prize will receive a financial reward as well as an opportunity to perform a research stay in a laboratory in France. The conference is part of the project “Displacements: Gendered-based Violence, Women’s Writing and Creative Practices in Modern Central and Southeastern Europe (4EU+ mini grant). The conference invites scholars and PhD students of different methodological orientations (gender studies, philosophy, history, literature, arts…) to address these issues as seen through the life and work of female artists in Central and Southeastern Europe of the 20th and 21st century.
