The Compostela Group of Universities (CGU), in collaboration with the University of Pécs (Hungary), is organizing a new edition of the prestigious online course Compostela Debate Academy, taking place from 3–7 November 2025.

📌 What does the course offer?

• 30 hours of activities (17 teaching hours + 13 training and social hours)
• 3 ECTS credits (currently recognized by the University of Pécs; recognition at our faculty is in progress)
• English as the language of instruction
• Open to students of all disciplines (BA, MA, and PhD levels)
• Topics include: critical thinking, argumentation, rhetoric, public speaking, and debating

• Introduction to debate and rhetoric
• Debate vs. discussion vs. dialogue
• Team building and mini-debates
• Fallacies and public speaking exercises
• Debate tournament preparation and delivery
